JAMES AND HÓDES NASH

James and Hódes Nash are independent Baptist missionaries sent out by Calvary Baptist Church, Colonial Heights, VA, Pr. Ray Haskett. James was approved as a missionary in Feb, 1972, and has been involved in Missions for thirty-five years. He arrived in São Paulo in 1973, later moving to Recife. He has helped established several churches in Recife, since 1980. James and Hódes were married May 19, 1999.  Since 2001, they have been serving in the city of Caruaru, PE, Brazil.

            Hódes is a young lady that was raised in a Godly home. Even while dating, her mom and dad would sometimes walk 10 to 15 miles on Sunday morning to help start new churches. Her grandfather was a church planter. Hódes has four sisters and four brothers (three are pastors). She was saved at 9 and baptized at 18, and has worked in almost all areas of church ministries. She surrendered her life to missions as a teenager.
